What Is Medical Qi-Gong?
Q |
i-Gong (pronounced “chee-goong”) has been practiced in China for thousands of years, where it is accepted as a self-healing method and an effective medical treatment. The name literally means “breathing exercises” and covers a wide variety of methods for enhancing one’s Qi (internal energy or life force). The common factors are clearing the mind, breathing slowly and deeply from the abdomen while focusing on the Dantien, in the area of acupuncture point Guanyan, located four finger widths below the navel.
Most medical Qi Gong practioners will project their Qi (life force, energy, electricity, frequency - all referring to the same thing) from their hands. It is not randomly moving the hands around the body, but as in my instruction and education, the Qi is directed to the Chinese Meridians and acupuncture points. The network of meridians being a mapped out group of electrical (energetic, frequencies) that travel throughout the body, the meridians are connected with the tissues, organs and emotions. They influence the human physiology, pathology, prevention and treatment of disease. Just like a T.V. remote control, you can experience the results on the screen from which ever button you're pressing with no visuals between the remote and T.V.
Let's not make this mysterious or mystical. Just as you would go to the gym to exercise and develop your muscles and cardio systems, there are exercises to improve and strengthen your Qi. Just like working out, the more you do, the stronger you Qi. "Of course I think my technique is superior." Agan, Qi, life force, electricity, energy and frequency, all reffering to the same thing.
Keep in mind that much of the eastern medicine medical model considers we are electrical beings and that all disease and healing first begins on the electrical level before reaching the physical. Excluding what may involve surgery from acute trama.
Do you have to believe in it? If you stand barefoot in a metal bucket of water and then place your fingers inside a toaster oven, press the activate button, you are going to experience an uncomfortable shock whether you believe it or not. Remember, we are viewing the body as an electrical being also.
Do you need to be filled with mental intention? How much intention is involved in sending a text message or email? There are no physical visuals to experience as the communication travels to its destination.
Are there contra-indications? If you press the channel four on your T.V. remote and you wanted channel three, you did no harm to the T.V., you were not on the right frequency, you just didn't get the results you wanted.
Getting the results is where the education and instruction come into play.

Hi Dave. Just returning from the Qi Revolution Seminar in Charlotte. Got 24 CEU's for $99. There were approximately 360 folks there, mostly LMBT's who attended for the cheap CEU's and to satisfy their "what is Qi-Gong curiosity". There was no medical Qi Gong applications to speak of. There was nothing even remotely approaching the powerful healing that was demonstratedin your class. I wasn't disappointed in the class at all; we got what was advertized. If you remember, you singled me out for kidney meridian work in the opening hour of your seminar. I am thrilled to report my kidneys are like new.
Through David Goldner’s Medical Qi-Gong Seminar, you can learn to transmit your Qi through mental intention, focusing on the lower Dantien and breathing, and how to direct it to acupuncture points and energy meridians to benefit healing. Medical Qi-Gong delivers and executes results at higher levels in the physical and energetic body with profound consequences for health and vitality. In Medical Qi-Gong, the healer goes beyond intention.
Medical Qi-Gong practice is a function of the right brain, where the subconscious mind stores and processes sense impressions and memories affecting every cell, organ, bone and tissue of the body. This is where we experience the alpha state of mind when we sleep. During the alpha state, the body heals and repairs itself. A Medical Qi-Gong practitioner can project his or her Qi at frequencies that reach this level of healing.
Modern scientific studies in China recognize that Medical Qi-Gong masters can transmit energy from their hands which benefits health and healing. Scientific experiments have measured radio waves, sound, magnetic fields and infrared vibrations emanating from the hands or bodies of Medical Qi-Gong practitioners.
