DAVID GOLDNER is an experienced instructor of Medical Qi-Gong and is nationally accredited as a continuing education provider in Medical Qi-Gong to massage therapists and nurses.  He has been a highly successful practitioner of Medical Qi-Gong since 1985, improving the health of many people suffering from a wide variety of conditions.

David Goldner first began studying Tai-Qi Chuan (internal energy of the hand) and Medical Qi-Gong in 1975 at the Chow Studio in south Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Chow were Medical Qi-Gong masters who had a healing clinic in China before coming to the United States. They would demonstrate “giving energy” which they said became possible after many years of Tai Qi. David studied further with Medical Qi-Gong master and doctor Wang Jue Ming at the Qi-Gong Research Hospital in Bao-Ding China in 1993.

David’s understanding and application of Medical Qi-Gong has been deepened by his twelve-year experience as a licensed massage therapist in Florida, where he became one of the most sought-after practitioners in the state. His skills have been further enhanced by over 300 hours of study in the acupuncture physicians program in the United States.

For nine years, David taught nurses massage therapy at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona, Florida. His courses were much in demand. He was given high evaluation marks for his teaching style and classroom demeanor. He has been praised for his “excellent classroom teaching” at both the Halifax Medical Center and at Gaston College in North Carolina, which offers an associate degree in therapeutic massage. David is currently a “valued instructor” in Tai Qi and Chinese Medicine at Brevard College in North Carolina.

David Goldner used Tai Qi Chuan and Medical Qi-Gong to heal himself after being struck by a speeding car while pushing a friend to safety in 1982. His feet were almost completely severed and his legs were smashed before he was catapulted head first into the windshield and then run over and dragged underneath the Ford LTD station wagon.

Funeral arrangements had been made twice before he awakened from a coma caused by two subdural hematomas. While in the hospital with tubes in his throat, nose and skull, David did Tai Qi exercises in his mind for hours on end. After 11 operations, he recovered without having one treatment of conventional physical therapy. Treating himself with the knowledge he had gathered during his five years of study with the Chows, David returned to full health, walking normally.

David Goldner believes that Medical Qi-Gong can improve anyone’s quality of life and that every person can learn to direct their Qi to heal themselves and others. He is convinced that the physicians of the future will diagnose through intuition and their healing technique will be their ability to connect to the source of all healing through Medical Qi-Gong.

David Goldner lives in Hendersonville, NC, where he teaches and practices Medical Qi-Gong and Tai Qi. He is also a massage therapist licensed in North Carolina [Lic. # 1561].
